Asked me about my family, since they haven’t really had the opportunity to talk much yet. I described my dad with a simple anecdote:
“When we travel on airplanes, he puts on a really old pair of headphones and leads the cord into his shirt pocket. Unbeknownst to everyone else, there is no iPod or mp3 player connected to the headphones; he simply doesn’t want people to talk to him.”
